Growing together is the ambition of the Plantagie Group. With that idea at heart, bert plantagie developed its 2026 collection, which will be shown in the Netherlands for the first time this January during Destination Design. The presentation features contributions by renowned designers including Hans Daalder, Sven Dogs, Frans Schrofer and Stefan Steenkist.
The theme Growing together emerged almost naturally. Recently, the brands Dutch Originals and They & Me also joined the Plantagie family. “At the same time, we see a strong demand for flexible, modular furniture that can be perfectly tailored not only to individual interior styles, but also to different activities and group sizes,” says Peter van Schie, Brand Manager at bert plantagie. “Earlier, together with Frans Schrofer, we created the modular lounge sofa Rozan. It starts as a 2.5-seater, but can be expanded until it seats an entire football team. We’ve now extended this series with new elements, making it even more versatile and flexible. We also developed a range of high-quality extendable tables: beautiful design pieces in their own right, yet ready in an instant to accommodate extra guests when needed.”
Exceptionally comfortable, highly customisable chairs – including the Jack by Sven Dogs – complete the picture, ensuring that everyone feels welcome and at home.
“As a furniture manufacturer with a rich history, we’ve been facilitating big and small moments of togetherness for many years,” says Maikel Ruijs, CEO of the Plantagie Group. “Now that the bert plantagie brand is approaching its 25th anniversary, we realise that countless conversations have taken place on our furniture, at home and at work, by tens of thousands of people. It’s almost impossible to grasp. That’s when you understand that all those small moments truly matter – and that we have grown through countless small moments.”
The Plantagie Group wants to share this insight with both dealers and consumers.
That’s why, in Eindhoven, you’ll find modular, future-proof designs from bert plantagie, the highly personal, minimalist-chic furniture of They & Me, and the design classics of Dutch Originals. Ruijs adds: “We offer a brand for every audience and a living solution for every interior – all with innovative design and the same trusted quality.”
